Why flowers ?

I had some time to kill in the studio before a late afternoon shoot so decided to try my hand at flowers.
Much more tricky than I had imagined. Lots of tiny adjustments, tweaking and prodding. Nothing is spontaneous or just happens. Kind of the opposite of what I am used to but good practice non the less and really gets you looking.
